Our Speaker Series will feature Leslie Pielack, a local historian and Director of the Birmingham Museum, who will discuss the exhibit and its groundbreaking research project.

Curated by Leslie S. Edwards, our special exhibit, A Tangled Web: Stories of African Americans in 19th Century Royal Oak, will delve into untold stories, including the Black community's ties to the Underground Railroad network in Detroit.
The exhibit will run through May, offering ample time to engage with this important chapter in our history.
