To participate, record a short video of yourself eating breakfast (pancakes encouraged!) without using a knife, fork, or spoon, and post the video to social media with the hashtag #ROBreakfastChallenge. In your video, challenge three other people to do the same. Those challenged then have 24 hours to post a photo/video or make a monetary donation at royaloakhistoricalsociety.com. All monies donated will be split evenly between the Royal Oak Historical Society to help support our museum and Blessings in a Backpack to help feed local children in need.
- 1. Accept the challenge – doing your part to think about Memorial Day, Royal Oak History, and feed families in Royal Oak.
- 2. Decide to document yourself eating breakfast without utensils or donate to our Breakfast Challenge by clicking on the link below. Of course, we’d be grateful if you opted to do both!
- 3. Prepare and film yourself eating breakfast without using a knife, fork, or spoon. Explain in the video why " You accepted the Royal Oak Breakfast Challenge" to raise awareness of the Royal Oak Historical Society and the great community of Royal Oak and help raise money to help feed kids in Royal Oak. You challenge (name three people) to the Royal Oak Breakfast Challenge."
After you take your photo or video clip, post it with the hashtag #ROBreakfastChallenge. Post to FaceBook, Twitter, and Instagram, or email photos or videos to curator@royaloakhistoricalsociety.org, and we’ll post them for you. #ROBreakfastChallenge
- 4. Notify the three people you have challenged to take part in the Royal Oak Breakfast Challenge. #ROBreakfastChallege
