Wittenberg-Leenhouts Scholarship

The Royal Oak Historical Society, in cooperation with the Berkley Historical Committee and with the support of the Wittenberg and Leenhouts Families and 44th District Court Judges Derek Meinecke and Andrew Kowalkowski, is excited to announce plans for the establishment of the Wittenberg-Leenhouts Scholarship, celebrating two ground-breaking 44th District Court Judges. The scholarship will be available to students affiliated with the cities of Royal Oak and Berkley who demonstrate academic promise, community involvement, and an interest in public service, law, government, history, or civic engagement.
